The Professor+ team
Agnès
All subjects at lower secondary, English and maths at upper secondary
Trained in pure and applied sciences, then at Sciences Po. Three years of tutoring, from primary to post-secondary level.
Agnès has been supporting students since 2024, first with primary and secondary pupils in French, mathematics and science, then as a tutor at Cégep de Saint-Laurent, where she followed students in French across three semesters: error-free writing, literary analysis, reading comprehension and confidence in written work.
Her background covers both sides of school work. A DEC in pure and applied sciences gives her mathematics, physics and chemistry up to post-secondary level; a bilingual International Baccalaureate secondary programme and C2 English mean she can work in either language.
At lower secondary level she covers every subject; at upper secondary, English and mathematics, including at an advanced level. Beyond that, feasibility is confirmed case by case depending on the syllabus. A 60-hour certified course in supportive listening completes that experience: she learned to listen to a student before explaining anything to them.
What they bring to a student
Every subject at lower secondary
A single tutor for French, maths, science and English, rather than one teacher per subject.
Written French
Three semesters tutoring French at post-secondary level: writing, literary analysis and language accuracy.
Bilingual, trained to listen
C2 English and a bilingual IB secondary programme, plus 60 hours of certified training in supportive listening.
